As Page Six has learned exclusively, “Jersey Shore” star Angelina Pivarnick and her husband Chris Larangeira divorced in May.
Despite the fact that they are no longer legally wed, the former couple continues to fight it out in court.
According to Thursday’s US Sun, 42-year-old Larangeira sued 36-year-old Pivarnick on June 23, claiming that he had broken a promise to pay her $22,000 to cover half of the cost of their wedding gifts.

Due to disparities in the “financial conditions of the parties,” New York City sanitation worker Larangeira asked that Pivarnick cover his legal bills.
In addition, Larangeira is demanding an additional $50 per day that Pivarnick delays payment of the first $22,000.
Only weeks after telling Page Six exclusively that she was “trying” to salvage their marriage, Larangeira filed for divorce from the MTV celebrity on January 20.
“I told myself, ‘There is no way I’m getting a divorce. She told us, “I’m going to try everything I can to save my marriage, no matter what it takes.”
These two used to have a very rocky relationship. They had to deal with suspicions of adultery on both sides, a sexually inactive marriage, and Larangeira’s choice to temporarily move out.
Pivarnick’s confession that she and her “All Star Shore” co-star Luis Caballero struck it off appears to have been the final straw.
In a recent episode of “Jersey Shore: Family Vacation,” she revealed to co-star Deena Nicole Cortese that she “left to film the show on terrible terms with [Chris].”
Obviously this Luis character has been around for the entirety of the episode. He was really pleasant to me and would try to strike up conversations, but I was quite skilled at ignoring him.
“Not only did he make me laugh, but he also complimented me. Time passed, and then he asked, “Can you sleep here?” While Pivarnick insisted they didn’t “hook up,” she admitted to sleeping in the bed with him, something Cortese, 35, didn’t believe.
Although they’ve known each other for over a decade, Pivarnick and Larangeira didn’t start dating until 2016. In the following November, they became husband and wife.
