Are Dami and Indiyah Still Together?
Dami uploaded a video on Instagram on Sunday showing them filling glasses of prosecco and toasting their milestone from their new flat. Dami Hope and Indiyah Polack of Love Island have taken a significant step further in their romance by announcing that they have moved in together.
However, the move did not go as planned, with Dami playfully captioning the video “when you just had a disagreement but you still have to move in together.” In a subsequent film, he joked that they’ll be much more bothersome to one other, adding, ‘here’s too annoying each other even more.’
The couple met on the latest season of Love Island over the summer and were initially placed with different people – Indiyah with Ikenna Ekwonna and Dami with Amber Beckford – before Ikenna and Amber were both ejected off the island.

They eventually planned to marry, and despite a temporary break-up after Casa Amor, Dami discovered that all roads did indeed lead to Indiyah, reconciling before finishing third in the show’s finale. Dami joked that the pair fought before moving in, but they put their issues aside for their big move.
Dami talked up about the drawbacks of being in the public eye earlier this year, telling the Virgin Media season premiere that all eyes were on him and India. It’s definitely a disadvantage because now I feel like we’re truly in the public eye and a lot of people are invested in our narrative,’ Dami added.
‘Some folks are simply seeking for any negative publicity to create a new narrative.’ Every single thing I do, whether it’s posting a picture on the internet or having a conversation, builds a new story that people will go with.
‘So, on a night out, I have to be like… I’m in a relationship, so I’m not going to do anything that would offend my girlfriend, but any small thing I do – maybe a female takes a snapshot with me and she’s embracing me too tightly – there’s a narrative there that says, “Oh Dami has already cheated.” ‘It’s all of those things.’
Dami and Indiyah met in the villa, reaching the final before being eliminated. ‘But I’ve seen what the public glare is like for celebrities, so you kind of know what you’re signing up for. You have supporters, but you also have detractors.’ The pair’s achievement comes as fellow finalists Gemma Owen and Luca Bish announced their separation after three months of being paired up in the villa.
