Early Life

On October 11, 1992, Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar was born in Manhattan, New York City, and raised in The Bronx. With seven siblings, her most famous is her sister Hennessy Carolina. She was born to a Dominican father and a Trinidadian mother. As a result of her time at Renaissance High School for Musical Theater & Technology, Cardi B began stripping at the age of 19 “My life was saved by [stripping] in so many ways.
