The NBA Finals begin on Thursday night, with Game 1 pitting Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors against the Boston Celtics.
Dell and Sonya Curry have been seen cheering on their son Stephen together in the stands during prior NBA Finals outings.
Not this year, though.
After 30 years of marriage, Dell and Sonya Curry announced their separation last summer.

TMZ reported in August 2016 that Sonya had filed for divorce on June 14 in North Carolina, per court records. I have no idea if the divorce is official.
Sonya and Dell tied the knot in 1988; Steph was born that same year. NBA Sixth Man of the Year in 1994, Dell, was still active at the moment. Seth was born to them in 1990, and Sydel Curry, a daughter, arrived in 1994.
In January, Curry commented on the state of affairs.
To express anger, I may say something like, “Y’all effed this up.” That’s a mindset I could get behind,” he told The Ringer. But it will honor both of you for the way you brought me up. I can now relax due to you guys.
Curry is aiming for the NBA Finals MVP award and his fourth NBA championship.
The Warriors and the Thunder will square off at the Chase Center tonight at 9 p.m. ET.
