The Instagram account ‘berlin.1969’ appears to be run by Ernest, according to reports. The account now has over 500,000 followers.
Ernest’s first appearance on the internet dates back to October of last year when he was first seen on the 4chan message board. The term “Gigachad” was coined to describe the internet sensation. Ultra Chad was another name for him that appeared on some websites.
When Ernest, the GigaChad, was first introduced to the public in 2017, Russian photographer Krista Sudmalis documented his origins in 2015.

As part of her project Sleek’N’Tears, Krista began photographing attractive male and female subjects. Ernest was first introduced to the internet by way of her photographs. As the Gigachad quickly became a meme, it was also known as Chad Thundercock.
When his ultra-masculine, sexually attractive persona struck many, others thought he was created using computer-generated imagery (CGI). As long as no one knows his identity, we can enjoy his good looks while the mystery is solved.
Why the Guy From Chad Meme Could Be a Digital Creation
It remains to be seen if Ernest is an actual person or just a computer program. Our GigaChad may be just another internet invention, but there are many theories to support this.
Claims have been made that Ernest is a Russian bodybuilder who works as a model for the Sleek’N’Tears project. There is a problem, however, with this explanation for the fans.
Ernest is only known by a few photos, and there is no video of him online at all. Many other models have appeared in the Sleek’N’Tears YouTube videos, but Ernest, the project’s crowned prince, has not appeared.
The GigaChad is also said to be uninterested in brand deals and to be barely active on the internet. Since most models and bodybuilders are reliant on sponsorships, this is surprising.
Many 4chan users claimed that the photographer behind GigaChad’s images, Krista, had altered pictures of existing models to create Ernest’s ultra-masculine persona when his first images appeared online.
GigaChad’s earlier images were also found to have been edited and retouched using images from other models, according to many other internet users.
