The topic at hand is the Automobile Accident that occurred in Flagler County. This morning, a lady was killed when she drove her automobile into the back of a semi-truck in the northbound lanes of Interstate 95, just south of Matanzas Woods Parkway. The accident occurred in the early morning hours. The head of the victim was severed from the body.

The Volvo semi-driver truck suffered no damage in the accident. The Florida Highway Patrol is conducting an investigation into the crash at this time. The shutdown of the northbound lanes of Interstate 95 between Palm Coast Parkway and Matanzas Woods Parkway has caused traffic to become backed up on the portion of the highway that is south of Palm Coast Parkway.

This morning, just after 8:30, a sedan rear-ended a semi that was traveling in the center lane under bright daylight with no clouds in the sky. As soon as a witness saw the collision take place, they immediately reported it to the appropriate authorities.

The officials have not yet provided an explanation for what caused the collision. Nevertheless, in a comment made on FlaglerLive’s Facebook page, a witness to the crash shared the following information with the community: Due to an earlier collision, the flow of traffic was already crawling at a snail’s pace.

As a result, they blocked off the lane that was the farthest to the left in order to make room for a merging. Cones and the sign indicating that drivers should merge should have been positioned further back on Route 95. This would have provided greater notice.

The previous tractor-trailer was still inside the guardrail, and emergency vehicles and police officers were still present at the scene of the initial collision that occurred. According to the witness, there had been a pause in traffic not long before the incident, which indicates that the semi was getting ready to come to a stop.

“With debris flying everywhere and cars wailing, it was like watching a scene from a movie in my rearview mirror,” the witness added. “It was like seeing a scene from a movie in my rearview mirror.” “Prayers are being sent out to everyone who suffered in that, and I’m extremely sorry for the persons who were involved,” the speaker said.

In a matter of minutes, a member of the Florida Highway Patrol, as well as firefighters and deputies from the Palm Coast Fire Department, Flagler County Fire Rescue, and the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office, arrived at the scene of the accident.

However, despite the authorities briefly waiting for an emergency aircraft, the individual was determined to be deceased at the scene. It would appear that there have been no further casualties in this incident. This year has seen a total of 28 people lose their lives due to traffic accidents, which is 11 more than the same time last year. Three of those deaths occurred in Flagler.

This year places fourth out of a total of 22 years when comparing the number of fatalities that occurred on Flagler County roadways. The authorities predicted that Interstate 95 would be shut down for a good portion of the day.
