Today we talk about Freeridge Season 2. The cancellation of On My Block was difficult to accept, but Netflix softened the blow by announcing a spinoff called Freeridge set in the same world. And now it’s finally here, bringing with it a brand-new cast that we adore just as much as the original four.

If you binge-watched Freeridge as quickly as we did, you’re probably wondering if the show will return for a second season. Netflix hasn’t confirmed anything yet, but co-creator Jeremy Haft did give us hope when he told TVLine that the Freeridge universe has plenty of stories to tell.

Freeridge Season 2: When Will It Come Out?

In episode 101 of Freeridge, Kayla Monterroso Mejia plays Gloria, Riley Wilson plays Demi, Tenzing Trainor plays Cameron, and Bryana plays Ines. Kevin Estrada, C.R. 2020 NETFLIX Assuming no one has cursed the show, we can expect it to return in the first half of 2024. But that is largely dependent on when, if at all, the renewal announcement is made.

Despite all of Netflix’s recent cancellations, a renewal appears likely because a half-hour comedy show like this is much cheaper to produce than the longer genre fare that usually gets axed first. Furthermore, the show is a spinoff from an earlier Netflix hit, which bodes well for Freeridge’s chances.

Freeridge Season 2 Plot: What Will Happen?

After spending the entire season trying to break Marisol’s curse, it was revealed that the gang was being haunted by Abuelita’s long-lost sister, Mariluna. Gloria assists Mariluna in reconnecting with her family during Thanksgiving dinner after learning that news.

To express her gratitude, Mariluna offers to write the gang a $1 million check. However, if they can spend it all in three months “with nothing to show for it,” they will instead win $10 million. As expected, the gang chooses the $10 million option, but things don’t go as planned when Mariluna is shot outside the mansion.

The shooters, two Santos gang members, mistook Mariluna for Marisol and demanded the Roller World money that Marisol and Jamal discovered in On My Block before her death. The season concludes with one last shot of Mariluna’s legs hanging outside her car door.

When Can I Watch The Freeridge Season 2 Trailer?
