In April of 2022, another anime adaptation has been announced, and we’re excited about it! In The Heart of Kunoichi Tsubaki will join the likes of Spy x Family, Komi Can’t Communicate Season 2, and more in the Spring anime calendar!
Soichiro Yamamoto is the creator of the manga series In the Heart of Kunoichi Tsubaki (Kunoichi Tsubaki no Mune no Uchi). Six volumes of the manga have been produced thus far, which began serialization in Shogakukan’s Monthly Shonen in 2018. CloverWorks, the company behind the likes of Shadows House, Spy x Family, Fairy Tail, and more, is behind the new comedy series.

What is In The Heart of Kunoichi Tsubaki About?
Kunoichi Tsubaki centres around the Akane clan of female ninjas, or kunoichis, who are forbidden from interacting with men, especially those from the outside world. As “dangerous creatures,” men are prohibited from dealing with the clan’s code of conduct.
The “Dog Clan’s” leader, Kunoichi Tsubaki, is regarded as a top student. Tsubaki, a model student, is also surrounded by a large number of young women who will begin their training in the near future. She’s a master of the clan’s traditions, but she appears to have a secret to hide. In order to protect her family, Tsubaki keeps her feelings about boys a secret. The shenanigans of Tsubaki’s heart resurface after a mission-ending encounter with a man she has never met before.
An anime called ‘Highlight – Highlight’ will commence with a song performed by The Peggies. Exciting is how you describe the Akane-Gumi Katsudo Nisshi Inuhan Ending Theme. It has been announced that Aniplex will be awarding a prize to the most creative interpretations of the song.
There have also been a few new visuals revealed for In The Heart of Kunoichi Tsubaki. The anime’s premiere date has been included in the official poster, as well as the major cast.
When Will In The Heart of Kunoichi Tsubaki Release?
In The Heart of Kunoichi Tsubaki has confirmed an April 2022 Release. The anime will have its premiere on Saturday, April 9th 2022 and will be hosted across a number of television networks. While announcing the date on Twitter, another PV was shared.
Despite the lack of official confirmation, the anime is expected to run for a single season with 12-14 episodes. Since the manga itself isn’t that old, a 12-episode release would be more appropriate.

Togichi TV, Togichi TV, Chukyo TV, and Gunma TV will air the anime’s first episode. On April 10th, 2022, Tokyo MX will launch the show at midnight.
