Alumni of Teen Mom OG According to what Ryan Edwards stated upon his comeback to Instagram after an absence of almost five years, the couple Mackenzie Edwards (née Standifer) and Ryan Edwards are on the verge of getting a divorce.
On Sunday, January 29, Ryan, 35, posted a quote on Instagram that said, “I believed you but now your words mean nothing to me because your actions told the truth.” The remark was taken from an article that Ryan had read.
The formerly popular reality show contestant said in the photo’s caption, “Your remorse is coming… “dear lord, you have shown me what I need, but not what I wanted.” After making the post on his personal profile, Ryan then proceeded to leave a comment beneath a photo of the couple that his wife, who was 26 at the time, had shared.
He scribbled in his notebook, “Take wife down off this.” “I’m not proud to be married to someone who frequents bars and sleeps with other men,” the speaker said. “It’s not a good example for our children.” He continued, saying, “I can’t wait for tomorrow to come around!

“I would not have been able to accomplish this goal without the support of both my wife and my parents. I would want to thank everyone for their good wishes. After some time had passed, Ryan confided in Dr. Drew Pinsky about his addiction, telling him that it “began with opioids.”
During the Teen Mom reunion that took place in September of 2019, he stated, “I don’t know what made me start using heroin, I can’t remember why I did, but I did, and once I did, I never went back to doing anything else.
