Joe Jonas Talks Taylor Swift Relationship Timeline!

Joe Jonas was able to open up on Dax Shepard’s Armchair Expert podcast about the current state of his relationship with his famous ex after surviving the release of Taylor Swift’s “From the Vault” Fearless bonus songs that were ostensibly inspired by their 2008 relationship (“Mr Perfectly Fine” and “You All Over Me,” which were written at the time of their romance, didn’t make the original album cut”).

In the most recent episode, he said, “I’m cool with Taylor. I said, “We’re cool.” He continued, “It’s been many, many years removed.” He was referring to their turmoil, which included the 25-second breakup conversation that infuriated her followers. He also told Shepard that he hoped Swift’s followers had forgiven him.

“I want them to think I’m likeable. You know, nobody f*cks with the Swifties. The Jonas Brothers, he continued, are aware of the Swifties’ need for protection. Jonas remarked that we don’t refer to [our followers] by a nickname, but we understand it. We recognize they are extremely possessive of their artists, saying things like, “This is my artist; how dare you!”
