Kanye West Has Hired Melinda Gates’ Lawyer in His Ongoing Divorce Battle with Kim Kardashian
Kanye West is alleged to have recruited the same attorney who represented Melinda Gates during her $130 billion divorce from ex-husband Bill Gates in his continuing legal battle with ex-girlfriend Kim Kardashian. According to TMZ, Kanye’s sixth divorce lawyer is Robert Stephan Cohen, who has previously worked with Chris Rock and Rupert Murdoch.

According to the publication, Kanye West has also recruited Beverly Hills-based attorney Nicholas A Salick of Salick Family Law Group, APLC as counsel in California, as Cohen is in New York while the legal separation battle is being fought in Los Angeles.
Kanye West‘s sixth legal representative in his divorce from Kim Kardashian is Cohen. Kanye West and his ex-wife are currently negotiating child custody and property division. Samantha Spector, Kanye West’s fifth divorce lawyer, quit the case last month due to an unresolved disagreement with the rapper.
West allegedly fired the case’s former attorney, Chris Melcher, before Spector took over. Insiders told the source at the time that West had been contradictory in his relations with Melcher, seeking a settlement at times and challenging her in court at others.
According to Mirror, Kardashian’s attorney Laura Wasser alleged that West was purposefully shifting attorneys when he switched from Melcher to Spector to delay the divorce process. Kardashian filed for divorce from West in February 2021, after a six-year marriage and the birth of four children together.
She began dating comedian Pete Davidson in the fall of last year, but they ended their relationship in August after nine months together. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have had a rough co-parenting arrangement since their divorce. Kanye West recently alleged that Kim Kardashian and Hulu, the Kardashian family’s streaming service partner, railroaded him when it came to picking where his children should attend school.
West lamented the children’s attendance at a high-priced private school in Los Angeles, comparing himself to a sperm donor who had no control over the issue. He recently shared footage of his two oldest children, North, 9, and Saint, 6, attending the Donda Academy, which appears to be a victory sign—or, at the very least, peace with Kim Kardashian. Several other children and teachers appeared to be enjoying themselves while singing and dancing.
Kanye West, now known simply as Ye, claimed in a recent interview with Good Morning America that, in addition to his disagreement with Kim over the children’s upbringing, he was also at odds with Adidas and Gap over creative control of his Yeezy clothing brand, according to Daily Mail.

Kim Kardashian, one of Jenner’s four daughters, filed for divorce from West in February 2021, after nearly six years of marriage. West spoke of Kris with ideas of peace and respect. West has previously criticized Jenner’s parenting abilities, implying a strained connection between the two. West had utilized the death of Queen Elizabeth II to express his grief in a social media message just a few days previously.
Fans assume that West was referring to either Kardashian or his late mother, Donda, despite the fact that West did not directly define the importance of his remark, according to the Independent. Are Brad Pitt and Emily Ratajkowski In A Relationship? What Angelina Joie Has to Say About Rumors!
