Season 2 of Law & Order: OC contained 22 episodes. It debuted on September 23rd, 2021.
Throughout the course of this season, Detective Elliot Stabler has faced and defeated a number of opposing forces. To begin with, he worked for the Albanian mafia as Eddie Wagner, posing as a bodyguard. The group was a dangerous drug smuggling and sex trafficking syndicate that operated out of the ports. Trouble started when Eddie Wagner’s real kid showed up and almost exposed Stabler’s cover.
A crime boss’s wife had an affair with Stabler. It was eventually determined that the leader had blown up a structure in order to get away from the task force. While being arraigned for the capture of the leader, they were nearly shot.
When Stabler’s son was suspected of murder, he faced yet another major issue. It turned out to be Richard Wheatley who was responsible. Wheatley was a Federal informant after his release from prison. He helped a hacker get out of prison and then used him to hold New York City’s power grid hostage in order to pay off the ransom. Wheatley was pushed off a cliff by his ex-wife, but his body was never found despite months of searching…
An old buddy of Stabler’s, Frank Donnelly, resurfaced and the OC team investigated him as a corrupt cop. In the course of their investigation, they discovered he led a police gang and carried out tasks for the Marcy Organization. Stabler was trusted by Donnelly and was given the leadership of the group. Stabler had a hit put out on him as the stakes increased. Donnelly murdered himself and Preston Webb was found dead by the task force…
What To Expect on Law & Order Order Organized Crime Season 3
Season 3 of Law & Order: Organized Crime will feature more of the same… Undercover agent Stabler puts his life on the line in order to take down his targets.
He struggled with discovering the truth about his father last season. When his father was wounded in the line of duty, he was awarded a coveted medal. His partner shot him, and they covered it up, so an innocent man was sent to prison by the end of the show.
In the upcoming season, we expect Stabler to be confronted with other truths in his personal life. Starting with his relationship with Captain Olivia Benson, his ex-girlfriend. Stabler or Barba’s relationship was supported by Benson’s therapist in the SVU finale. No, I doubt it. No one knows for sure if Stabler and Benson will ever get together.
