It seems like David and Lesley Beador can sort things out.
The 57-year-old business owner of a construction firm filed for divorce from his wife of fewer than two years, but then he changed his mind a few days later.
On Wednesday, Lesley announced the news on her private Instagram Story, saying that David “submitted a request for dismissal a few days ago.” The update to the online court records has not yet been made, but a court spokesman tells PEOPLE that the court has no time limit for responding to such requests that are not time-sensitive.
David’s attorney, Michael J. Monarch, and the couple themselves did not respond promptly to requests for comment about their marriage and their 19-month-old daughter, Anna Love Beador.
Lesley said on Instagram, “Now back to your normal programming.”
Former Real Housewives of Orange County star David Beador has divorced his wife, Lesley. David, previously married to Shannon Beador of The Real Housewives of Orange County, filed to formally dissolve his marriage with Lesley on September 15 – the day that would have been his wedding anniversary with Shannon. The couple had been married for 23 months.
David stated that they could not reconcile their issues in the first court records seen by PEOPLE. He asked for shared parental responsibility for their child and mentioned that a prenuptial agreement already covered the distribution of their property.
The two made their relationship public for the first time in January 2018; they currently divide their time between Orange County and Park City, Utah, where David owns a property.
According to PEOPLE’s sources, 58-year-old Shannon was “blindsided” by the romance because she and David had just divorced after 17 years of marriage.
Lesley, who is 20 years younger than David and who already has two children from a previous marriage, posted several photos and videos of their connection on Instagram. On November 9, 2019, she made news after posting naked images of herself and David on Instagram.

Shannon, the mother of Sophie, 21, Stella, 18, and Adeline, 18, whom she shares with husband David, told the audience at that month’s first BravoCon, “My kids all watched it at school.” “Everyone was shocked.
David doesn’t recall it quite like that. He said to PEOPLE, “My kids called, and we giggled at the selfies Lesley uploaded.” “It’s incredible how often Shannon brings up topics about myself and my life. To complement her jelly, she’d like some peanut butter.”
In January 2020, David and Lesley were back in the headlines when Lesley announced that the two were engaged. He proposed only nine months after he and Shannon had finalized their divorce.
Lesley announced the engagement on Instagram, with a photo of a shirtless David showcasing her new ring. She shared a second photo of her then-fiancé and her massive diamond with the comment, “I can’t wait to spend all my time with the one I love. I 3 u, you, you!!”
David later confirmed the good news to PEOPLE, saying, “Yes, Lesley and I are pleased to be engaged.” We will have a party in Miami before heading to the Super Bowl.

Shannon reportedly tried to make up with David by giving him and Lesley a present for their newborn daughter, Anna Love. Shannon said in March 2021 on an edition of Jeff Lewis’ SiriusXM radio program that Lesley had refused the gift and that she and Lesley had no connection. Thus the gesture ultimately didn’t lead to any goodwill between the three.
