Every year, on July 15, we commemorate National Respect Canada Day. As the Great White North, Canada has a lot to be proud of, making its national holiday all the more appropriate. In terms of entrepreneurship, Canada is placed sixth, and in terms of starting a new business, it is ranked seventh.

History of National Respect Canada Day
They were the first outsiders to visit Canada after the Inuit, whose ancestors had traveled from Norway to Iceland. North America has discovered approximately 1000 AD by Eric the Red’s son, Leif. Those who did make it to Canada were greeted by a bustling commerce system including Europeans and Native Americans. Canada was given the moniker “New France” by French explorer Jacques Cartier in 1534.
In 1759, New France became a British province, but efforts to anglicize 70,000 French Canadians were unduly ambitious…
But in 1867, a united Dominion of Canada was founded after rebellions and discontent with British rule led to the foundation of the Confederation of Canada. From Upper Canada to Lower Canada to Nova Scotia and New Brunswick one single Dominion inside the British Empire in the wake of the British North America Act, 1867’s adoption on July 1, 1867, became known as Canada.

During both World Wars, Canadian troops fought alongside the British. As a result, Canada’s standard of living rose significantly when World War II came to an end. In 1949, Newfoundland, Canada’s tenth province, became a member of the Dominion of Canada.
