Long was the head coach of the Boston Celtics for 13 years.
According to the source, Nia is putting all of her attention on reestablishing her life and caring for her children despite the tragic and distressing circumstances. The couple “is no longer together but remains fully committed to co-parenting their son [Kez],” according to a representative for Long, who also confirms the couple’s breakup.
After the Boston Celtics held a press conference in September to discuss Udoka’s ban, the pair decided to end their relationship shortly thereafter. “I believe seeing my son’s face when the Boston Celtics organization decided to make a very private matter public was the most terrible thing about all of this,” Long said in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter last week. “I think that’s the most heartbreaking thing about all of this.”
