Police Have Released Photos of the Truck Involved in the Fatal Hit-and-run on Steam Mill Road

The Police Department has distributed pictures of a car that is suspected to have been involved in a hit-and-run accident that occurred on Thursday on Steam Mill road. The accident resulted in the death of a 13-year-old girl and left an 11-year-old boy with significant injuries.

The police are asking for the aid of the general public in either identifying the person who was driving this car or in finding the vehicle itself. According to the police, the vehicle in question is a Toyota Tacoma that is either silver or gold in color and has a light overall appearance.

After a man was struck by a car on Friday evening around 9:30 p.m., police were summoned to the 7000 blocks in order to investigate the incident. When the police came, they discovered that 27-year-old Jason Hamlet was lying on the road suffering from serious injuries.

Two people were hurt in a gunshot outside of a grocery shop in Mooretown. Hamlet was rushed to the hospital, but he did not survive his stay there. The pedestrian was transported to the hospital, but he or she passed just a few days later. The office of the Santa Clara County medical examiner has determined that the deceased person was Quynh Ngoc Van, a resident of San Jose who was 38 years old.

A still photograph of the truck that was recorded from neighboring security cameras was provided by the police on Friday, along with a more clear shot of a vehicle of a comparable make and model. The extended cab truck is probably blue or green in color, according to the description.
