Police: Suspect Robbed Victim Outside Pinnon Meats Before Fatal Shooting

Photographs were taken by surveillance equipment of a person believed to be responsible for a shooting that occurred outside of Pinnon Meats in Rockford, located at 2324 N. Court St. On Wednesday, the Rockford Police Department shared updated details regarding a shooting that took place outside of a well-known Rockford establishment.

The victim, who was 63 years old, was reportedly robbed of her possessions as she down the steps in the building that houses Pinnon Meats at 2324 North Court Street while the suspect wore a black mask, a grey sweatshirt, black pants, and black shoes, according to the police.

After that, the suspect left the scene in the victim’s vehicle, which was located sometime later in the 2000 block of Douglas Street, unoccupied.
