She fought stage four cervical cancer till the end, but it ultimately proved fatal. Griggs’s cancer was of a terminal variety, and he had little hope of making a full recovery. It was only a few days before her death that she entered a hospice.

In the fall of 2020, Robyn Grigg was diagnosed with stage four endocervical adeno carcinoma. Mucus-producing gland cells are the typical origin of this aggressive and potentially lethal malignancy. The actress frequently updated her social media followers on her plight.

She added in an interview last year, “I love to laugh — that’s my way of dealing,” and so she “made sure to find something hilarious to think about.” “Depression is awful, and I have times when I feel its grip, but then I remember…” She said, “I’m still here.

Griggs disclosed the addition of four malignancies only last month. Sadly, she passed away this past Saturday after a long and courageous fight.

Robyn Griggs was born on April 30, 1973, in Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania, and she went on to become a successful American theatre, television, and film actor. Beginning in children’s theatre, she later made an appearance on Nickelodeon’s Rated K (1986–1988). Young critics were featured in this programme.

Griggs’ breakout roles as Stephanie Hobart on One Life to Live and Maggie Cory on Another World propelled her to popularity. Soap operas finally brought her the fame and recognition she deserved.
