At this point, we will be discussing the Rock Hills Accident. On January 13, a rollover accident in Jewell County claimed the life of a student attending Rock Hills Elementary School in Mankato who was in the fifth grade. According to reports from Kansas Highway Patrol Troop C, a rollover accident involving a single car occurred on Randell Road in the Mankato area at approximately 7:30 a.m. on Friday.
The location of the accident was approximately one mile south of US Highway 36. There were a total of six people who were injured as a result of the collision: the driver, along with the five students. A child in fifth grade was killed as a direct result of the incident.

Rock Hills Accident
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, none of the other passengers were injured in the accident. Help with the scene diagram was provided by the Critical Highway Accident Response Team (CHART) of the Kansas Highway Patrol when they arrived.
