Yesterday saw the announcement of the release dates for both parts of the upcoming Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Cosmos The Movie. Both parts will be split into two parts.
Sailor Moon Cosmos Release Date
The release dates for both halves of the anime film have been confirmed, and the confirmation can be seen in a new trailer for the film, which can be viewed below. On June 9, the first part will be made available, and on June 30, the second part will be made available.

In the Japanese theatrical and Blu-ray editions of Sailor Moon Eternal, which closed with a “To be continued…” teaser, a reference to the movie was made for the first time. During the Sailor Moon 30th Anniversary Live-Stream that took place on April 28, 2022, it was announced through a trailer that the release date will be in the summer of 2023.
Sailor Moon Cosmos Cast
In addition to the cast members who are returning from Sailor Moon Crystal, it has been confirmed who will be playing the roles of the Sailor Starlights. The role of Taiki K/Sailor Star Maker will be played by Saori Hayami (Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?, Spy x Family), Seiya K/Sailor Star Fighter will be played by Marina Inoue (My Hero Academia, Attack on Titan), and Yaten K/Sailor Star will be played by Ayane Sakura (Legend of Mana: The Teardrop Crystal, Knights.
The Stars arc from the Sailor Moon manga series was adapted into a two-part film that was released in 2017. Both of these movies are being directed by Tomoya Takahashi (Yo-kai Watch, Den-noh Coil), and Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (Beyblade, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure) is working on the scripts for both of them.
Yasuharu Takanashi is going to be responsible for composing the soundtrack (Fairy Tail, Naruto). Kazuko Tadano, who is best known for her work as the character designer for the first season of the Sailor Moon anime series, will be responsible for creating the character designs.
