Shark Week 2022 Schedule: Your Guide to All 23 Specials!

Respect the Jaws of Nature

Shark Week is just around the corner, so don’t be afraid (or a bit, it’s fine).

On July 24, Discovery relaunches its week-long summer spectacular that dives deep into the ocean’s biggest predators. You’ll be transported to the waters off South Africa, Tahiti, Papua-New Guinea, the Bahamas, and the Azores in the 34th episode, where you’ll see strange b(r)eaches and [doublechecks notes] walking sharks.

Along the way, expect to see a few well-known faces. The Jackass team will help new cast member Poopies overcome his fear of sharks, and the man who once urged Kenneth on 30 Rock to “live every week like it’s Shark Week” will be a part of the festivities: Dwayne Johnson will serve as Shark Week’s first-ever master of ceremonies.

There will be a Tracy Morgan Presents: Sharks! special hosted by Tracy Morgan in which he will explore his favorite types of sharks with Tracy Morgan.

Are you itching to get your feet wet in all of these enticing ponds? On discovery+, there will be three specials from Shark Week that will premiere early. Do you need to start chewing on the 25-hour schedule of new specials right now? Put on your life jacket and set sail for the day (s).
