A child was discovered on Tuesday just after 3:40 British Standard Time at home on Dovey Road in the Sparkhill suburb of Birmingham. The child was in a critical state and was not breathing when they found him.
According to the police, he was taken to the hospital, but he did not survive his arrival there as he passed unexpectedly shortly after. Two ladies were reportedly assessed at the scene for injuries that seemed to be potentially serious before being transferred to a hospital, as stated by the ambulance service.
While one woman in her twenties was discharged from the hospital after receiving therapy for a brain injury, another woman in her twenties is still undergoing care at the hospital for her damage. After making the arrest, the detectives did not continue their search for any other individuals who may be connected to the case. The male suspect, 29 years old, was taken into custody at the scene.
“This is a horrible tragedy, and our thoughts and prayers are with everyone who was touched,” said Inspector Neil Kirkpatrick. “Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone who was affected.”
Over the next few days, we will have additional law enforcement officers in the area to reassure individuals who live there. Read more: Sarah Ferguson Posts First Photos of Queen Elizabeth’s Corgis Since Monarch’s Death
