Season 2 of Made in Abyss has been given a release date! The anime’s first season, which aired in 2017, was well-received, and now it’s back with what appears to be a multimedia project. On April 2, 2022, the film’s release date was officially announced by the franchise. Japanese TV stations will begin rebroadcasting all of Season 1 of Made in Abyss on Wednesday, April 6, 2022.
Since 2012, Akihito Tsukushi has drawn and written the manga series for the title. Serialized in Web Comic Gamma, the manga has been licensed by Seven Seas Entertainment for 10 volumes. In the anime adaptation, Kinema Citrus was produced. Just in time for Season 2, a sequel film was released in 2020.

What is Made in Abyss About?
This epic series of dark fantasy adventures begin in a place known as the Abyss, a network of pits and caves teeming with some of the most amazing and fascinating creatures in the world. In addition, the deepest abyss on the earth holds the remains of ancient civilizations and all that excites Cave Raiders. Obscure entities lurking in the darkness are not exempt from danger in the depths.
A non-corporeal form of misfortune is unleashed depending on the type of drive that is made into the Abyss, and those who return to the surface after exploring the depths of the Abyss often encounter this curse. The Belchero Orphanage in Orth, where Riko lives, is the focus of the story. In mysterious circumstances, her mother is taken away from her. Lyza, Riko’s mother, was an accomplished cave diver who was given the name “White Whistle” by her fellow divers. Riko aspires to the same thing and decides to pursue scuba diving as a career.
Reg, a robot that resembles a young boy, is introduced to her by chance. When he returns to the orphanage, he joins the other residents in their cozy little group. On this secret expedition, Riko takes Reg along, and the end result appears to be riddled with dangers.
Sentai Filmworks has obtained the rights to distribute Kinema Citrus’ anime series throughout the world. There have already been a number of key visuals released for Season 2 of Made in Abyss.
Made in Abyss Season 2 Plot
“Made in Abyss: The Golden City of the Scorching Sun” is the official title of Season 2 of Made in Abyss. The anime adaptation of Made in Abyss, which has lasted 13 episodes, has been followed by three additional movies. After the events of Movie 3: Dawn of the Deep Soul, we can expect the second season of Made in Abyss to begin.
As of January 2022, there are currently 62 chapters in the manga for the series. Chances are that the series will deviate from the manga because the chapter release will not be able to keep up with the season release, given the amount of material available.

Where Can I Watch Made in Abyss Season 2?
All of the major Japanese television networks carried the first season of the anime! Season 1 of Made in Abyss premiered in 2017 and quickly became one of the year’s most popular releases. The anime was also streamed on Crunchyroll, along with the three feature films. Made in Abyss Season 2 is in a precarious position because Crunchyroll will no longer be streaming it. It’s possible that it’ll return to the platform if the Summer 2022 catalog favors it.
The release has yet to be announced on other streaming services like Netflix, Hulu, and so on.
