SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – The killings in South Burlington and Burlington, which took place only a few hours apart, are currently the focus of an investigation by the authorities to establish whether or not they are related to one another.
Members of the Vermont State Police Major Crime Unit arrived at the Swiss Host Motel and Village in South Burlington early on Monday morning.
A guy was reportedly shot and died on Sunday evening at the motel on Williston Road, according to the police. The incident took place there.
According to the South Burlington Police Department, officers arrived on the scene after receiving a report of a gunshot. According to Chief Shawn Burke, the body of a man who had been shot was found by the police at around 11 p.m. His name is not yet known to the general public at this time.
According to Burke, who was quoted in an email sent to WCAX, “this homicide does not appear to be a random act; the folks involved knew one another.” “It does not appear that this killing was committed at random.”
A witness who lives nearby told WCAX News that he overheard an argument going place outside, which was then followed by the sound of gunfire.

Burke has indicated that they are launching an investigation to determine whether or not there is a connection to another death that occurred in Burlington just hours earlier on Pine Street. This inquiry is being conducted to determine whether or not there is a connection.
