Using a function called Photo Unblur, which will be available on the Pixel 7, Google claims that you will be able to browse through your Google Photographs collection and correct previous fuzzy photos taken using the Pixel 7. To yet, the capability is only available on the most recent iteration of Google’s mobile devices, much as the Magic Eraser function that was introduced with the Pixel 6.

According to the firm, the Pixel 7’s next-generation Tensor G2 processor makes this image processing capability, along with many of the other aspects of the device. The company claims that its denoising technology enables its new phones to snap low-light photographs “twice as fast.”

The Pixel 6 included a feature called Face Unblur, which used multiple exposures to make sure that the faces in the pictures it took were sharp even if there was motion blur in the rest of the picture.
