Uncle From Another World Season 2’s Cast
Netflix won’t air Uncle from Another World Episode 13 until 2023. Atelier Pontdarc animated the first season. Unfamiliar? Despite writing about anime professionally, neither had I. 2021 Do Your Best, Douki-chan anime was Atelier Pontdarc’s first. Isekai Ojisan is their second (Ganbare Douki-chan).

Thus, Uncle From Another World Episode 6 was delayed to August 24, 2022, and Episode 7 to August 31, 2022. Delays continued. On September 9, 2022, Uncle From Another World Episode 8 was delayed to 25:35 JST on November 24, 2022. (effectively November 25th at 1:35 AM JST). Episodes 3–6 were reaired in Japan from September 7–28, 2022. On October 6, 2022, Episode 1 began airing again.
Delays continued. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic in China delaying video work outsourced to Chinese companies, Uncle From Another World Episode 13 was postponed on December 26, 2022. Isekai Ojisan Episode 13, the first season’s finale, was scheduled for December 29, 2022.
The Isekai Ojisan anime appears to be doomed like the 86 and Wonder Egg Priority anime. Production problems delayed both finale episodes by months. Japanese broadcasters had to open time slots for the TV series. Netflix only licenses Isekai Ojisan for worldwide streaming, however, AT-X and BS11 (Nippon BS Broadcasting Corporation) are directly involved in the anime production committee.
This latest delay means Uncle From Another World Episode 13 will release in 2023. Three Uncle From Another World Blu-Ray/DVD discs will contain 13 episodes. Volume 1 was due September 28, 2022, Volume 2 on January 25, 2023 (delayed from October 26, 2022), and Volume 3 on February 22, 2023. (delayed from November 25, 2022). The final BD box set may be delayed.
