There is a notification that appears on the device four hours before the app deletes a Snapstreak. Next to the flame emoji, the notification will appear in the form of an hourglass emoji. In the event that the user does not send a snap within the allotted amount of time, their streak will be fully removed.

Nevertheless, if the user follows a few simple instructions, they might be able to regain their Snapstreak.
