Yvonne Strzechowski Australian actress Yvonne Strahovski (born 30 July 1982) has been nominated for two Primetime Emmy Awards and three Screen Actors Guild Awards for her dramatic TV roles.
She played CIA agent Sarah Walker in Chuck (2007–2012), Hannah McKay in Dexter (2012–2013), and CIA Agent Kate Morgan in 24: Live Another Day (2014). She plays Serena Joy Waterford in Hulu’s The Handmaid’s Tale (2017–present), for which she’s been nominated for two Emmys, three SAG Awards, and a Golden Globe.

Strahovski was born in a Sydney suburb. Her parents immigrated from Warsaw, Poland. Her dad is an electronic engineer and her mom a lab tech. Strahovski started acting at and attended Santa Sabina College, Strathfield. In 2003, she attended UWS’s Theatre Nepean and co-founded a playing company.
