We Are The Wave Season 2 Release Date

Anca Miruna Lazarescu and Mark Monheim directed the German drama television series We Are the Wave, also known as Wir sind die Welle. The series is based on Todd Strasse’s 1981 novel We Wave, and it premiered on Netflix on November 1, 2019. We are wave follows a group of teenagers who band together to raise their voices against social issues such as racism and bullying, which are instigated by new student Tristian, who wants to change the world according to his own norms.

As you would imagine from the title, the series is based on the idea of bringing about social change, and it is a foreign language series aimed at a young audience. Despite the fact that the series is set in Germany, the themes highlighted in it can be found anywhere in the world, and the series’ audience, primarily teens, has praised it for its accurate portrayal of universal societal issues. The first season of the series was well-received by viewers, raising the question of whether it should be renewed. The first season of the series contained six episodes, each lasting about 50 minutes.

We Are The Wave Season 2 Story

We Are Wave tells the narrative of five disturbed youths who risk their values, friendships, and love for the sake of their future. They believe that following the rules will not allow them to affect the future, therefore they choose the dangerous path of changing society. They are sceptical of everything since they have already squandered a significant amount of time. During a lecture, two teens drugged a political leader, which kicked off the first season. When Lea becomes dissatisfied with her daily routine, a new student, Tristan Broch, joins his class. Tristan piques Lea’s curiosity because he appears to be different from the other kids his age, and Tristan, for some reason, pays attention to Lea. Tristian, being the odd child, pulls a trick on them when a group of youngsters make fun of him because of the T-shirt he’s wearing.

When Tristian sees a gang of teens harassing a girl, he steps in to aid her and encourages her to stand up for herself. Tristian is in the washroom when a youngster tells him he’s a drug dealer and instructs him to ask him for drugs. The kid assumes Tristian knew he was a drug dealer because he followed him to the washroom. Tristian requests that Lea inform him about the school. The entire series follows Tristian and his four classmates as they embark on a journey to bring about change in society, which includes protests and any other strategy they devise to ensure that every victim of society receives justice. If the show is renewed for a second season, Tristian and his pals may embark on a fresh quest to deliver justice to the world.
