Wylie was a Fresno State player from 2007 until 2011. He hauled in 1,327 yards, eight touchdowns, and caught 98 passes. On Tuesday, November 14, 2023, the Fresno State Bulldogs shared an homage to Wylie following confirmation of his passing:

Wylie was an NFL player who was on many teams. In the fourth round of the 2012 Draft, the Kansas City Chiefs selected him. They let him go after he appeared in six games for them that season.
