Raising Kanan Season 2 Story
Power Raising Kanan: Season 2 opens with Kanan attempting to kill his father, Det. Malcolm Howard (David Carradine). In the season one finale, we learned that Malcolm had escaped the bullet and was now conscious after the juvenile trafficker attacked and left him for the ghosts. Although he has already been imprisoned, Raquel wants to frame her son, Unique, for the crime. Is the investigator going to put his son’s safety ahead of his own??
Outside of Maryland, Kanan has ties to the mob in South Jamaica, New York – but he has no idea that the cop he killed is his father. Raquel is a tough lady who was caught bringing him into the family business after initially shielding him from her drug peddling. Kanan’s thoughts and actions are shaped and molded by the actions of others, according to Mekai Curtis, who plays Kanan in the upcoming episodes.

Raising Kanan Season 1 Recap
Kanan Stark, a 15-year-old high school student in South Jamaica, Queens, in 1991, is eager to meet his mother, Raquel Raq Thomas, who runs the family’s booming drug operation. Raq goes to great lengths to remove the target from Kanan’s back when a rival member of the crew is killed. Marvin helps Kanan, who is still reeling from a terrible loss, break into the narcotics business, while Raq plots to eliminate her rival. When Raq’s rival is dealt with by the police, all horses are set free; agreements are broken, truths are revealed, and vengeance is swift. When the stash house is attacked, Raq redesigns her operation to improve her bottom line; Kanan, on the other hand, is arrested after an altercation with Scrappy.
Raq and Unique’s feud centers on Lou’s new art exhibition, and Kanan devises a drug-dealing scheme with Marvin. Kanan and Marvin’s passive income goes bad; Raq seeks revenge for Scrappy’s assault; Jukebox suffers a catastrophic blow. That Kanan is responsible for the terrible crack in the street causes Raq to suffer. Kanan is the only one who can help Raq as Marvin seeks revenge. As the situation in the neighborhood deteriorates, Raq rushes to save Kanan from serious harm.
