Tia Mowry Divorces: Everything We Want to Know!
In Los Angeles on Monday, Tia Mowry submitted paperwork to begin the divorce process with her husband of 14 years, Cory Hardrict. Documents obtained by Fox News Digital reveal that the “Sister, Sister” singer filed for divorce, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the request to end their marriage and end their marriage.
Mowry and Hardrict tied the knot on May 20, 2008, and since then, they have been blessed with two children: Cree, who is 11 years old, and Cairo, who is 4 years old. On Monday, Tia Mowry officially started the divorce process with her husband, Cory Hardrict. In the year 2020, the pair had been married for a total of 14 years.
According to the paperwork, which stated that “all assets and responsibilities of each partner remain her/his separate property,” it seemed as though the pair had already entered into a prenuptial agreement before being married.
In addition, Mowry and Hardrict both agreed to put an end to “the court’s ability to award support” to either party, and they signed off on this action. On Tuesday, Mowry gave an update regarding her relationship status to the millions of followers she has accumulated on Instagram.
“I have always been straightforward with my audience, and that practice continues unabated now. I have some news to share: Cory and I have come to the conclusion that it is best for us to part ways “she had written. “These kinds of choices are seldom simple, and they almost always involve some measure of melancholy.
“As we work together to raise our lovely children, we commit to keeping our friendship strong. “I want to thank my friends, family, and fans for your love and support as we start this new chapter going ahead in our life. I am thankful for all of the great days we had together and want to express my gratitude for those times.”
She posted the message on Twitter in the afternoon on Tuesday as follows: “I am love. I shall only make the choice to look for love. I have faith that you will.”Mowry tweeted on Sunday night, hours before the divorce papers were submitted to a courthouse in Los Angeles, “Reminder: You do not need anything else. You deserve love. You have a right to have your genuine self recognized and appreciated for what it is.”
