A new season of Big Mouth, Netflix’s raucous animated comedy about coming of age, will be available to stream in 2019. Season five ended with viewers saying goodbye to the pupils of Bridgeton Middle School, and the door was left open for more growth and development for the characters. Throughout the season, characters discovered themselves and came to terms with life itself, and they evolved as a result.
Nick Kroll helped him conquer his hatred worm, and he is now ready to make apologies with his buddies in Season 6 of the series. With her newfound awareness of her bisexuality, Jessi rediscovers her friendship with Missy and embarks on a romantic relationship with Ali. Finally, Jay recognizes that he is better suited to Matthew than Lola and chooses him.
As with prior seasons, Season 5 received tremendous praise. There were some major character changes, and viewers will notice that the characters presented in the first season aren’t necessarily the same ones introduced in the sixth. There were no huge cliffhangers in Season 5, but we do know what to expect in Season 6 in terms of developing romances and repaired friendships.

The cast of Big Mouth Season 6
No cast members have been announced for Season 6, however, it’s reasonable to presume that everyone from Season 5 will be back for a second season. Recurring characters like Nick Kroll (John Mulaney), Andrew (Jason Mantzoukas), Jay (Ayo Edebiri), and Jessi (Jesse Klein) are expected to return. Thandie Newton, who played Mona, and Maya Rudolph, who played Connie, are also set to return.
There has been no announcement about guest roles, but it’s safe to assume there will be lots of pleasant surprises. All bets are off for surprise guest appearances following Hugh Jackman’s appearance this season.
There are several big names attached to the show, so it’s fun to speculate about who will be voiced in Season 6. A star-studded cast is a fitting farewell gift for the show’s last season, which could be its last. Fans want more of the show’s major cast to play themselves as Nick Kroll did in season 5.

“Kroll told Esquire in 2020 that an early assessment of the show remarked, “Big Mouth gives zero f****.” As time has passed, we’ve tried to remember that part of our success has been taking risks and not playing it safe. Laughter allows us to have bigger emotional moments, and bigger emotional situations allow us to make even wilder jokes, so we’ve found the funnier the jokes, the more fun we have.”
Release Date of Big Mouth Season 6
The release date for the sixth season, like the actors, has not been officially revealed, therefore any talk of a premiere date is just conjectural. The last five seasons have been released around every 11 months. From this, it may be concluded that season 6 will premiere in October of 2022, with a few months of wiggle room.
Since there were no major plot twists at the end of season five, viewers shouldn’t be overly excited for the show’s comeback. Fans of Netflix shows like Stranger Things have to wait a long time for new seasons to arrive.
Big Mouth fans, on the other hand, don’t have to wait as long, and hopefully, this will continue for the foreseeable future. It appears that the program will resume sooner rather than later, as there have been no delays or glitches in production. Season 3 of Big Mouth was renewed until season 6, and Netflix has been keeping up with the demand of viewers since then. Big Mouth doesn’t take a year off between seasons, unlike most other shows.
