‘Billions’ Season 7 Release Date, Cast & More Details!

For the sixth season running, the Billions universe continues to grow. Once Damien Lewis’ exit from the show and Bobby Axelrod’s departure for a quiet life abroad were confirmed, the long-running Showtime drama shifted its focus to another primary issue.

Paul Giamatti’s crusading attorney Chuck Rhoades now faces off against Michael Thomas Aquinas Prince, a wealthy do-gooder who isn’t afraid to go against the grain in his pursuit of social justice and equality. Was it realistic to question if Billions would still exist in Season 6?

Billions can only be Billions. Characters like Taylor Mason (Asia Kate Dillon) and Kate Sacker (Condola Rashad) grew in complexity as Chuck and Prince sparred. We’ll have to wait and see for the next season to find out. To discover out, we ran the statistics.

Which Cast Members Are Returning?

A large portion of the Billions cast has been confirmed to return for Season 7. As a result, Paul Giamatti’s Chuck and Corey Stoll’s Mike Prince will remain the show’s two main protagonists. Also returning are Maggie Siff and David Costabile, who play Wendy Rhoades the brilliant corporate psychiatrist. Taylor (Asia Kate Dillon), Sacker (Condola Rashad), and Chuck’s father Charles Rhoades, Sr. (Jeffrey DeMunn) will all be back for more.

Are there going to be more familiar faces next year? Following nearly 70 episodes, Billions’ supporting cast is well-stocked. What Will Billions Season 7 be About?

Chuck vs. Prince became a distinct storyline in Season 6, but the Chuck vs. Axe storyline remained the show’s central conflict until the end of the season. As we’ve learned, Prince is adamant in his belief that the world can and should be a better place. While Axe is more interested in making money than making a difference, Prince wants to be seen as a positive influence in society. Axe would have dismissed Prince’s plans to run for President as a waste of time and money.

The West Wing or Stoll’s old streaming success, House of Cards? Is that what Billions will develop into? Don’t risk your money. Billions has taken political detours in the past, but the show’s core focus has always been on Manhattan’s battle for money and power. Many characters who have come into contact with Prince have realised that his pursuit of the ethically correct path can still inflict harm and devastation. He’s no slouch on the global stage. Chuck’s troubles won’t be solved by throwing him in jail. Throughout the course of this show’s six seasons, we’ve learned that the characters on this show often act like Looney Tunes heroes: They will pursue their aims to the point of destruction.
