Despite having ties to northern and central Ohio, Jeffrey Dahmer was known as the Milwaukee Monster for the series of horrible killings he carried out there. The serial killer was raised in Bath Township, which is close to Akron, Ohio, and whose homicidal rampage is the subject of the new Netflix series “Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story.”
He also murdered his first victim there in 1978. He first evaded police scrutiny before leaving Ohio. Dahmer murdered Hicks there and cut his body into pieces.
According to The Enquirer, the home’s previous owner discovered what was thought to be a piece of Hicks’ hip bone in 1990 while gardening the yard. The following year, more than 50 bone fragments were found on the premises by police.
Two police officers in Ohio’s Bath Township stopped Dahmer. David was born in Ohio in 1966.
According to several publications, including Elle and the Cinemaholic, he is said to have graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 1991 or 1994 and changed his identity following his brother’s incarceration. According to a background check done on Accurint, David L. Dahmer, who was born in 1966, resided in Corryville from 1989 to 1999.
