Suspect Arrested in Man’s Saturday Death at New Richmond Residence!
To wit: “NEW RICHMOND, Wis. (WEAU) – A man was found dead in a New Richmond residence on Saturday morning, and the police say they have a suspect in custody.
A 48-year-old male was reportedly pronounced dead at the site despite the best efforts of police and emergency responders who came to administer life-saving measures.
At 6:03 a.m. on Saturday, August 27th, a caller to St. Croix County Dispatch reported that medical assistance was required in the 600 block of North 2nd Street. According to a press release from the police, investigators have concluded that the occurrence is isolated and poses no threat to the general public.
The St. Croix County Jail is currently housing the suspect until formal charges are prepared.
The deceased man’s name will not be released until family members have been notified.
The New Richmond Police Department received assistance from St. Croix County Dispatch, the St. Croix County Sheriff’s Department, the Hudson Police Department, the River Falls Police Department, the New Richmond Emergency Medical Services, and the St. Croix County Medical Examiner.
