Woman Sues Ex-husband in Court Over Boudoir Photos She Was Given
Lindsay Marsh’s ex-husband demanded she turns over four photo albums after she filed for divorce, including personal photos of her taken during a boudoir photoshoot for her husband while they were still married. A woman is suing her ex-husband in court over boudoir images she sent him as a wedding gift while they were still married.
Lindsay Marsh claims she posed naked and in lingerie for the photos. Marsh’s ex demanded she turns over four photo albums, including intimate boudoir photos of her, when their marriage fell apart and she filed for divorce. “I was like, this is incredibly strange, unusual, and improper,” Marsh explained. “That’s my body,” I say. That belongs to me. Nobody else is entitled to it.”
The ex has now backtracked, stating he’d settle for the romantic notes his ex-wife left in the CDs, such as “Love is not about how much you say I love you, but how much you prove that it’s genuine.” “Mr. Marsh is not requesting any naked or pornographic images.” Absolutely not. “The inscriptions were his main interest, not the images,” the ex-counsel husband’s stated in court.
Lindsay said, “A lot of these inscriptions are scrawled over images.” “They’re letters from a wife to her spouse.” They’re intimate, they’re personal, you know? And he understands that, and he knows I wouldn’t give him those,” Lindsay told Inside Edition.
Lindsay can now alter the photos to remove all of the intimate images, according to the divorce judge. “I still think it was inappropriate,” Lindsay admitted. Christa Meola, a boudoir photographer based in Los Angeles, has been following the case. “I was startled that a judge ruled in that manner.” “I don’t believe any female judge would ever have ruled that way,” Meola remarked.
