After a Multicar Crash, I-90 Reopens Over Snoqualmie Pass
After a collision involving a number of semi trucks and passenger automobiles that occurred on Thursday morning at approximately 9:30 in the morning and closed both directions of Interstate 90, the eastbound lanes have reopened.
The lanes going eastward were made available again just before noon. According to the Washington State Department of Transportation, the westbound lanes are still closed in the vicinity of Cle Elum, although they are scheduled to reopen at 3 o’clock in the afternoon.

A trooper who was driving a patrol car was hit by two vehicles, according to Trooper Rick Johnson of the Washington State Patrol. According to Eastside Fire & Rescue, there were no injuries that were considered to be life-threatening. The number of automobiles that were involved in the pileup is still being investigated by the troopers.
