Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Investigates Shooting at Elmwood Park Home
The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office is looking into a shooting that occurred at a home in Elmwood Park. An investigation into a shooting that took place at a residence in Elmwood Park on Tuesday evening was carried out, according to the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office.
It took place on Lincoln Avenue after 5 o’clock in the evening. As of Tuesday evening, detectives were still there at the location where the incident occurred. It was unclear whether or not any arrests had been made. According to statements made by neighbors, they dialed the emergency number when they allegedly saw the homeowner’s boyfriend armed with a firearm.

They also said to News 12 New Jersey that he shot her companion, who, for some reason, made his way to a 7-Eleven in Fair Lawn, which is around two miles from the scene of the crime. After that, she was sent to the local hospital.
Elmwood Park Police Department Chief Michael Foligno made sure that the community was not in any danger, despite the fact that the police did not provide any information about the shooter. “Everyone is not in danger. We have a dozen cops on the scene doing investigations, and we will do all in our power to ensure the safety of everyone who lives in this region “Foligno stated.
