There has never been another owner-head coach duo that has had the kind of success that Robert Kraft and Bill Belichick have, which indicates that they have developed a rather effective strategy.

Since Kendrick Bourne’s playing time has been a topic of contention between Robert Kraft, the owner of the New England Patriots, and Bill Belichick, the head coach of the Patriots, since the beginning of Week 1, it was notable when Belichick presented Kraft with the game ball following the Patriots’ victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday.
Belichick spoke about his professional relationship with Kraft during his weekly appearance on the “Greg Hill Show” on Monday. The show is hosted by Greg Hill.
“I believe it started the year that I was here in ’96 with Coach (Bill) Parcells, and I really had a fantastic opportunity during that year to work with Robert and his family and the company, so I think that’s when it started,” Robert said, “Belichick said. “We established a strong connection with one another in that setting, and by the year 2000, philosophically speaking, we were on the same page with regard to the formation of teams, contracts, and the myriad of other components that make up an organization, such as its staffing, structure, and so on.
“We got off to a strong start, and were able to construct a nice foundation there; and clearly, we had to tweak it along the road for a number of reasons and changes; nonetheless, I believe that foundation in the early years was very significant. I am really grateful to Robert for allowing me to participate in this event since I am aware that he had to forego several draughts picks and other opportunities in order for this to take place. It was a wonderful chance, and I believe that everything turned out nicely for me as a result, so I am really grateful for it.
It’s likely that Kraft would acknowledge that things have turned out nicely.
