The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that Gabriel Hall, who is the brother of Ivan Hall, who stars in both The Bachelorette and Bachelor Nation, has been charged with murder. According to court records obtained by THR, Gabriel Balgatas Hall was jailed on October 15 for a first-degree felony murder charge that was filed by the assistant district attorney for Taylor County on October 14.
The charge was filed on October 14. The Abilene Police Department initially detained him on suspicion of a shooting that had occurred on August 31, two weeks earlier than the date of his detention. Gabriel is being kept in custody at this time with a bond of $400,000.
Gabriel has been charged with murder in connection to the death of Carlos Veliz Jr., who was found with a gunshot wound in the parking lot of a convenience store in Abilene on August 31. According to the local news, Gabriel was arrested in connection to the killing of Carlos Veliz Jr. Hall was initially brought to the attention of the local authorities as a person of interest in connection with the shooting.

Gabriel was placed in jail on many charges relating to possession of firearms and ammunition at the time of his original arrest in connection with the incident. THR has contacted the Abilene Police Department to request a comment on the matter.
