Gloucester County Sheriff’s Office is Looking for a Teen Who is Suspected of Killing One Man and Shooting Another

According to a Sheriff’s Office announcement, they were notified shortly after 1 a.m. about a shooting in the 7800 Block of Guinea Road in the Hayes section of Gloucester. When deputies got to the site, they discovered a big crowd gathered.

“Petitions and a detention order have been filed against Winnington charging him with malicious wounding and use of a firearm in the conduct of a felony,” according to the release. According to them, further charges will be filed as the investigation proceeds.

They said Winnington is still at large and is armed and dangerous. “While it is not this agency’s regular practice to release the identity or likeness of a juvenile suspect, the danger to the community and the necessity to safely take Mr. Winnington into custody made this release imperative,” the release continued.
