What Killed TWitch?
According to Page Six, tWitch committed suicide by gunshot to the head. The LA County Medical Examiner found “no foul play” and closed the investigation. Law enforcement sources informed TMZ that tWitch’s wife, Allison Holker, raced into a Los Angeles Police Department station on December 13, 2022, anxious because he had left their house without his car, which was unusual. At 11:15 a.m. PT, paramedics were sent to the Oak Tree Inn in Encino, California, a 14-minute walk from tWitch and Holker’s home, where he was found dead in the bathroom from a self-inflicted gunshot to the head. He died immediately.
The day before his death, tWitch booked at the motel, according to TMZ. TMZ reported that tWitch didn’t appear “distressed” or “visibly unhappy” at the hotel. Staff informed TMZ that he booked a one-night stay with a little bag. On December 13, 2022, staff found tWitch dead in his room after he missed checkout. Twitch’s Wife?
Allison Holker—who is Stephen Titch’s wife? tWitch and Holker met in 2006 at a party organized by their common acquaintance Ivan Koumaev, a So You Think You Can Dance season 2 contestant with Holker. “Allison doesn’t recall our first meeting! “I had blond hair and piercings, so I’m not sure how you’d forget me, but that’s neither here nor there,” tWitch told Dance Spirit in 2012.
In 2010, SYTYCD season 7 all-stars Holker and tWitch, the season 4 runner-up, reunited. “We met again in Season 7 but didn’t speak the whole season. Because she wouldn’t talk to me, I didn’t know.
“She saw me looking her out in the corridor,” tWitch added. Holker denied not using tWitch. “I made, like, 10 moves and he wasn’t seeing them, so I had to throw myself out there even more. I thought he was the prettiest guy ever from the first week of So You Think You Can Dance as all-stars. He stated his personality was fun.
tWitch approached Holker for his number at the Los Angeles premiere of Step-Up 3D, in which he starred, in August 2010. Stephen attended the Step Up 3D premiere separately from the all-stars.
“I saw him on the red carpet in this gorgeous grey suit and glasses—he looked really hot,” Holker added. I was embarrassed and hid behind Ade when he said hello! At the celebration, I danced with his mother and brother. I geeked. That was our first night out. Finally, he asked for my number.”
After exchanging numbers, neither made a move until the So You Think You Can Dance wrap party. Nervous! I knew the season 7 wrap party was my last night with him. “Geez, I think I have to be stronger about my moves.”
“Holker” I wasn’t going because I’m a mom and don’t party. I was in the car when he texted to see if I was going! People tried to say hi, but I was looking for this guy. He pointed and gestured “come here” at the opposite end of the room. We danced three hours upstairs.”
tWitch proposed to Holker during a commercial in 2013. Nigel Lythgoe’s Paso Robles winery hosted their December wedding. Maddox was born in 2016. Holker and tWitch have Maddox, 6, and Zaia, 3. tWitch was Weslie Fowler’s stepfather.
