Jaime King’s Estranged Husband Claims She Hasn’t Paid Child, Spousal Support
Kyle Newman, who is no longer married to Jaime King, asserts that his estranged wife has not paid him the money that the court ordered her to pay him… and claims that he no longer has enough money to continue living. According to court documents acquired by TMZ, Kyle claims that Jaime has not paid even the minimum sums of child support and spousal support that were ordered by the court in April.
The minimum amounts are $429 per month and $1,000 per month, respectively. He claims that she is also ignoring a court order that requires her to reveal information about her financial situation. On top of that, Kyle claims that Jaime has completely depleted the communal property retirement accounts, taking more than $500,000 in the process.
Even more, according to Kyle, she recently put the family home up for sale without getting his permission… and claims that the revenues of that sale, which totaled approximately $1.5 million, have been withheld. Kyle claims that he is now in serious debt and has had to withdraw a significant amount of money from his retirement funds in order to keep his head above water.
He claims that she was the primary provider for the family and that he was forced to put his profession as a writer and director on hold in order to care for their two children full-time at home. Kyle demands that Jamie use the money from the sale of the house to pay the attorney fees and other liabilities that total 700 thousand dollars… and requests that the sentence for disobeying earlier court orders be increased by an additional fifty thousand dollars.
We got in touch with Jamie‘s representative… There has been no response as of yet. He claims that she was the primary provider for the family and that he was forced to put his profession as a writer and director on hold in order to care for their two children full-time at home.
Kyle wants Jamie to pay $700k in attorney fees and costs from the proceeds of the sale of the home. In addition, he wants the judge to add an additional $50,000 in sanctions for ignoring previous court orders. Jamie has refused to comply with the court’s demands.
