Jeremy Renner was taken to the hospital on Sunday after an accident. “We can confirm Jeremy is in critical but stable condition with injuries sustained in a weather-related mishap while plowing snow earlier today,” a Hawkeye official told The Hollywood Reporter. “His family is there for him, and he is getting fantastic care.”
The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office near Reno, Nevada, was summoned to Renner’s residence along Mt. Rose Highway on Sunday morning, according to public information officer Kristin Vietti. Signing Autographs Can Now Earn Superstars “Many Millions”.
“Upon arrival, deputies collaborated with Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District and REMSA Health to arrange for Mr. Jeremy Renner’s medical transport to a local area hospital via care flight,” she stated. “Mr. Renner was the only person involved.” The sheriff’s office’s major accident investigation team is presently investigating the incident’s circumstances.
Renner, who has played Clint Barton/Hawkeye in several Marvel films and a Disney+ series, is presently starring as Mike McLusky in Paramount+’s Mayor of Kingstown. Renner has been one of Hollywood’s most in-demand performers since receiving an Oscar nod for Kathryn Bigelow’s The Hurt Locker in 2010. Following Hurt Locker, he co-starred in Ben Affleck’s 2010 criminal drama The Town, which earned him his second consecutive Oscar nomination.

A year later, he made his debut as Hawkeye in a cameo role in 2011’s Thor, and he went on to star in several Avengers films, including Avengers: Endgame (2019), which is the No. 2 highest-grossing film of all time. He has remained with Marvel, with Hawkeye making his debut last year.
He has dabbled in other franchises in between work in the Marvel universe, appearing with Tom Cruise in Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol (2011) and the 2015 sequel, Rogue Nation, and toplining The Bourne Legacy (2012), which billed him as a potential successor to Matt Damon, who had played spy Jason Bourne in three previous films.
His Taylor Sheridan series Mayor of Kingstown concerns the McLusky family, power brokers in the little fictional town of Kingstown, Michigan, where the only industry booming in jail. Mayor of Kingstown has been renewed for a second season, which will premiere on Paramount+ on January 15, 2022.
