Kelly Clarkson Finally Settles Her Divorce From Brandon Blackstock — She’s Paying Him How Much?

Kelly Clarkson and Brandon Blackstock have finally come to terms in their acrimonious, messy divorce – and now it would appear the legal issues are behind them.

According to TMZ, the original American Idol winner and her ex-husband are legally bonded in the final conditions of the divorce, which were just signed off on by Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Scott Gordon.

Kelly will have primary custody of the two children she and her ex-spouse have together. In the meantime, the kids will continue to spend at least one weekend a month in Montana with Brandon, who currently resides there full-time.

However, Brandon’s ranch is now one of Kelly’s assets, thus the current custody agreement may soon be up for reconsideration. She gets to keep the house, but Blackstock can only be there until June 1 per the divorce agreement. In exchange, he has to pay rent to keep the place, which comes to $12,000. Ouch!

At the very least, he has a few months to get back on his feet. If Brandon hasn’t made up his mind about leaving Montana by June 1st, the current once-a-month custody arrangement will be reviewed.

If Brandon were to leave Montana and see a shift in his living expenditures, it appears that all of that, including the custody arrangement and child support payments, might still be slightly altered. In any case, the exes are pretty much looking at a finalized divorce at this point.
