Man, Killed in suspected San Lorenzo Road Rage Shooting
The shooting death of a man that occurred on Sunday afternoon in San Lorenzo is being investigated by the authorities as a possible case of road rage. The incident was reported just before 4:30 o’clock in the afternoon at the intersection of Hesperian and Lewelling boulevards, according to Lt. Ray Kelly, a spokesman for the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office.
When the deputies came, they discovered a man who had been killed and was lying in the roadway. He had been shot multiple times, and the responding medical personnel pronounced him dead at the scene. According to Kelly, the suspect vehicle sped away from the scene in the direction of the 880 motorway.

Kelly stated that it appears the shooting was a “potential road rage type event,” but no other details were disclosed at the time of her statement. The authorities have not revealed whether or not the two suspects knew each other, nor have they described the appearance of the getaway car.
