Early Life of Ankita Lokhande
Indian actress Ankita Lokhande Jain (born December 19, 1984) made her debut in the Balaji Telefilms/Zee TV daily show Pavitra Rishta, for which she won an award. Before she left television in 2018 to focus on cinema, she was one of the industry’s best earners. In addition to her role in Baaghi 3, Lokhande has also appeared in the Bollywood blockbuster Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi. Lokhande was born to teacher mother Vandana Phadnis Lokhande and businessman father Shashikant Lokhande on December 19, 1984, in Indore, India, into a Marathi household. She also has a sister named Jyoti and two brothers named Sooraj and Arun. She decided to pursue a profession in acting after finishing college, so in 2005 she relocated to Mumbai.

Career Life
Lokhande landed the role of Archana on Ekta Kapoor’s soap opera Pavitra Rishta after appearing in India’s Best Cinestar Ki Khoj (2004–05). (2009–14). She has been seen on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 4, Comedy Circus, and Ek Thi Naayka. In 2013, Pavitra Rishta skipped a generation, and Lokhande played not just Archana but also her granddaughter Ankita till the show’s cancellation in 2014.
After dating since 2010, when Rajput first asked Lokhande out on the dancing reality show Jhalak Dikhhlaja 4, the Pavitra Rishta co-stars are now engaged. They discussed getting married in an interview in 2016. Sadly, the pair broke up the same year. Reports surfaced that Lokhande, after a two-year hiatus from acting and her divorce from Rajput, will make her film debut in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s historical drama Padmaavat (2018). But she said she wasn’t ready for the film and left the theatre.
The following year, rumours began spreading that she had joined Sanjay Dutt in signing on for Girish Malik’s film Torbaaz. Nonetheless, Malik’s confirmation that Lokhande would not be participating in the film put an end to the rumours. In 2018, she confirmed that she would play the warrior Jhalkaribai in the upcoming epic drama Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, directed by Krish and Kangana Ranaut and inspired by the life of Rani Lakshmi Bai. The film’s premiere coincided with the evening before Republic Day 2019, and it became her first financial hit.
This was followed by Lokhande’s role as Kapoor’s older sister married to Deshmukh’s character in Sajid Nadiadwala‘s action-packed movie Baaghi 3 (2020), the third instalment in the Baaghi trilogy. The film also stars Tiger Shroff, Shraddha Kapoor, and Riteish Deshmukh. Due to the COVID-19 outbreak in India, theatres had to close shortly after the film’s release, which negatively impacted the film’s box office take. In 2021, she appeared alongside Shaheer Sheikh in the sequel to the popular web series Pavitra Rishta.
Marriage
As of early 2019, she was in a relationship with successful entrepreneur Vicky Jain. Their wedding ceremony took place in Mumbai on December 14th, 2021. After competing in the first season of StarPlus’ Smart Jodi with her husband, Vicky Jain, in February 2022, they won.
