TikTok Star Randy Gonzalez of Enkyboys Dies at 35
Randy Gonzalez, who rose to fame as the father in the popular TikTok comedy team Enkyboys, died on January 25, less than a year after revealing he had stage 4 colon cancer. Gonzalez was 35 years old, according to NBC station KPRC in Houston.
Gonzalez’s death was reported on the Enkyboys Instagram account on January 26. “We regret to inform you of the demise of my father, Randy Gonzalez. My father fought cancer for a long time and is now at peace with our Lord “read the caption, which was signed by his son and comedy partner Brice Gonzalez, now 6 years old.
The message went on to thank fans for their “warm sentiments and condolences,” and said a public memorial for Randy Gonzalez would be held in Houston at a later date. Brice Gonzalez also included a sorrowful letter to his late father: “I wish I could hug you & give you a kiss one more time dad but I know you will be watching over me, mum, and the girls. Dad, till I see you again. I swear I’ll make you proud. “I adore you,” he wrote in his greeting.
Celebrities expressed their condolences to the Gonzalez family. “Brice, we adore you and extend our love and prayers to your family,” actress Eva Longoria commented. John Barrowman, a stage and screen actor, stated, “Brice, you will always remember how much pleasure and excitement you and your father brought to our lives. During some difficult times, you both made me grin and chuckle.

You will have a guardian Angel for the rest of your life. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. You must be strong!” The Enkyboys went viral for their ridiculous lip-sync videos in which they mouthed the lines to everything from rap tunes to comedy flicks to Howard Stern interviews.
Randy Gonzalez stated in a video in April 2020 that he had been diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer six months earlier. Doctors told the comic at the time that if he decided to undergo chemotherapy, he would have at most five years to live.
Gonzalez stated at the time that he hoped to use his diagnosis to raise awareness about the necessity of colon cancer screenings, especially for young men like himself. Gonzalez offered followers an update on his cancer treatment in his farewell video in December, frankly saying that he felt “wonderful” despite the fact that the chemotherapy he was receiving at the time was “not working.”
Brice Gonzalez was cast last year in the NBC sitcom “Lopez vs. Lopez,” which starred comic George Lopez. “My heartfelt condolences to Brice and the entire Gonzalez family,” Lopez wrote on Instagram on Jan. 26. Randy’s love and closeness with his son and family were evident, as evidenced by every video. He will be missed, but he will never be forgotten. My heartfelt condolences go out to the entire family. “May God bless you,” Lopez said in Spanish.
