Supposedly, Simona Halep and Toni Iuruc Are Going to Get a Divorce After Being Married for Less Than a Year!
Simona Halep and husband Toni Iuruc have reportedly separated after 11 months of marriage, as verified by Iuruc to Fanatik. However, Halep has not yet addressed the media.
Taurus, in a statement translated by Romanian media, has described the split as a mutual decision and expressed hope that it can be handled “in the most respectful way possible.”

Halep and Iuruc tied the knot in an extravagant ceremony after the 2021 US Open in September.

Almost a year to the day of the wedding, and a little more than a week after the former world No. 1’s heartbreaking first-round elimination at this year’s US Open, news of the couple’s probable divorce broke.
After parting ways with longtime coach Darren Cahill at the end of last season, Halep has had an up-and-down season, and her loss to Daria Snigur is the latest low point. To prepare for the European clay season, Halep teamed up with current coach Patrick Mouratoglou, and she has since made his eponymous academy in France her primary training facility.
In the months leading up to the US Open, she was on a roll, advancing to the quarterfinals at Wimbledon and adding the National Bank Open in Toronto to her 24 career victories.
To this day, Halep has not been officially eliminated from participation in the 2022 WTA Finals in Fort Worth, Texas at the end of October.
